Missions and Events

We know that the missions are the reason you're here (even though we'd like to think it's because you think we're pretty.)

Current Missions:

Silent Rave: Sunday July 19, 2009 @ 2PM

A silent rave is a flash mob where people with individual mp3 players show up to a location and have a massive dance party with no audible music. (If you don't get it, check out youtube)

The concept is simple! Get a TON of people dancing to their own beats! (Literally) Don't worry if you "can't dance" the more outrageous your moves are, the better!!

We will plan to show up around 2 pm, and start dancing promptly at 2:15. This sort of flash mob is most effective if people join gradually, so don't worry if you show up at little late. (but not too late or you'll miss out!) We hope to keep grooving for about half an hour or so, but if we start having a lot of fun, it might go on a bit longer. 

Once the flash mob is over, anyone who wants to stick around to hang out/meet fellow B.Lovers can do so at the Wendy's on Chestnut Street. We will not be sticking around the flash mob location to chat, because that ruins the magic.

(Also, feel free to bring/invite friends!! The more people we have, the more awesome it will be!!!)

Fast-Food Formal: DATE PENDING.

This is an idea we've been playing around with for quite a while. On an old forum of ours, someone suggested taking over a local fast-food joint and setting it up for a prom or other formal event- regardless of the other patrons. We thought about it for a while, scouted out a great location, and are definitely looking forward to getting dressed up- come out and join us for a fun evening of greasy food, bad dancing, and laughs... who knows, maybe we can even get the diners involved!
